PLAYER PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • Group Seminars
  • Daily instruction screening dealing with “2 on 1”, “1 on 1”, checking strategy, goal scoring strategy, fore checking, back checking.
  • Advanced power skating techniques.
  • Each player will receive a private individual conference with an assigned instructor.
  • Each player receives a comprehensive evaluation and players handbook.
  • Instruction in wrist, backhand, snap and slap shot - measured with a radar gun.
  • Power skating instruction with the skate harness.
  • Video analysis of skating & shooting.
  • Off-ice plyometric core strength training program.
 

PLAYERS INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM

Players will be grouped according to age and ability.
OHS’s outstanding instructional program is the result of more than forty years of development by many of the games finest coaches and players. The five most important areas of the game are an OHS instructional standard and are implemented in all hockey programs.

1. Power Skating

International Satellite Camps, Okanagan Hockey Schools, Hockey Schools, Hockey Camps, International Hockey Camps, Satellite Hockey Camps
2. Puck Control/Stick handling
3. Passing/Shooting
4. Checking
5. Team Play - Offensive/Defensive.

OHS Students play in their respective age groups, or in line with their individual abilities, so that each player has an opportunity to develop rapidly by receiving full attention from their instructors. Each player will receive a comprehensive evaluation.

*Note 1 : Payment can be made over the phone at 01793 445566 or in person at the Link Centre Main Reception. Most credit and debit cards are accepted, or a cheque with your application form.

To make things easier  this year we can accept payment in four instalments, if payment is made direct to the Link Centre. This will be four  £40 payments at your convenience followed by a final payment of £50. Payment in full must be received by 1st September 2007.

Refunds will not be given after the initial payment if you are not able to attend.
